Padington`s Pizza in Salem

Yummy every time!! Still the best in town!

This really pains me, as I grew up on Paddington's Pizza. That being said; if it ain't broke then don't fix it. The staff is nice and friendly. However, this is NOT the same Paddingtons Pizza that we have gotten used to. There is something different about the pie that doesn't quite put it in the class of the original recipe. The crust is different and the sauce has changed. I hate to say this, but I am not sure that it is worth the effort. I hope that there are more people that aren't too discerning, or I predict a drop in revenue. I have heard rumors that the two locations are run by two different organizations now. So, maybe they had to change the formula. Whatever it is, they need to make some changes or they will be just another pizza joint.

I have been going for over 25 years and the pizza is great but the customer service has lacked the whole time and this is my first time with a review...there young and just dont care about customer service which at this point I'm done...going to Abbys from now on...I'm sad...it needs a good leadership and a restructuring

Fantastic Pizza!! The sauce is excellent, not too much. Perfect amount of cheese and cooked to excellence!! The lunch special is a fantastic way to go!

Always better when you eat there but take out is good too. Generous toppings and nice thin crust. Lunch size is a great value.

Spectacular flavors & texture for a reasonable. A bit of a wait, but more than worth it. If you're looking for the best pizza in Salem, this is your best choice no doubt

Delicious pizza! One of my favorites since I was a kid. Nice inside environment complete with a fireplace and a big screen tv. Bring the whole family, there are plenty of large tables to accommodate large groups. Pizza is fantastic.

We had pizza here when they first opened about 35 - 40 years ago. It was excellent then, and hasn’t changed a bit since then. Fresh, crisp, thin flavorful crust, freshly baked. High quality toppings - if you opt for fresh mushrooms on it, it adds a whole other dimension to the flavor. Like all of us, I’ve eaten a lot of pizza all over the world, including in Rome, and this is the best I’ve ever had, anywhere!!

I swing by Padington's every time I visit town. Fantastic thin crispy crust pizza, piled with fresh toppings. Love it.

The pizza isn't the greatest. But overall the other food on the menu is great, and it's a great place for family gathering's.

Ordered 2 large pizzas to go car side service. I love Padingtons and have been a customer for years but this time the pizza was really bad. When at home sat down to eat it and the family started looking at each other and we all said it’s poor quality. The skins were old and barely any sauce. I know my pizza I have managed Pietro's pizza and since the South store closing I have gone to Padingtons for my pizza. I hope this is a one time experience. Thanks

Ordered a few lunch pizzas today. Couple of them had requests: no mushrooms, add jalapenos, etc. Paddington's nailed it. Delicious pizza, on time, all of it. Thank you.

Hi Everyone, I've been a huge fan and loyal customer of paddington's pizza for a very long time. I ordered a large vegetarian pizza today for lunch and it was horrible! The crust was chewy/????/ yuck and taste burned. I really have no words to describe the toppings, but just awful!!! I've talked to friends that have been loyal customers for years and have had the same comments/experience. I would highly suggest driving another 10min to walery's pizza in west salem, excellent pizza! Thanks for reading my honest feedback, take care!

The best pizza ever.... to bad it's so expensive. We would eat there way more often if it wasnt $24 for a pizza

Pizza is good, but the food prep person answered the shared phone, took an order, put her hands in her pockets and returned to grabbing toppings from the bins without washing her hands. Propped food handling protocols are not observed here. Yuck.

So for the last 2 weeks my husband has called in order for his lunch. He always calls about a hour or so before he comes. Both times his lunch hasnt been ready and today they hadn't even started it! He said he got Very Bad Customer service today! He enjoys your pizza , but he will not be returning ..

It's pretty good pizza, but I would like to see a white sauce there. The olive oil base is good, I'm just not a tomato sauce fan.

They are a great pizza place in the Salem area, I have watched many a basketball game here with my family and have enjoyed every visit. It is probably my favorite pizza restaurant in the area. I try to go when ever I get the chance, hope to see you there.

LAST visit. Called in order. Went to pick up, waited almost 30 minutes longer than when I was told would be ready. Order was wrong - thank god I checked before I left. Blond lady (owner?) is rude, NOT friendly and always has a frown. She thinks she is above everyone and doesn't have to wear the company shirt. Constant turnover in staff. Staff looks miserable. No music, no smiling, joking...go observe for yourself. Pizza used to be good. Gone downhill.

Fantastic pizza joint! Great atmosphere. Perfect for groups of any size. The pizza is the best, especially the whipper snapper and the humdinger.

I am struggling to rate this with two stars. I ordered three large pizzas. Two 49er's and one pepperoni . The two 49er's we asked for and assumed paid for extra meat, and fresh mushrooms, and tom's on the side.The curbside was nice, pizzas were ready. I invested $76.50. Upon our arrival to celebrate our two Anniversary's.We found the pepperoni to be good. But the two 49er's were terrible. If this was extra meat, I can't imagine what a regular amount would like. The pizza had nothing but green peppers on. Very little meat little cheese, it was totally tasteless.What a disappointment. I think I recall my last visit to the location out south was less then good.Too bad these locations were very good. Guess we are done with Padington's. Something has really changed and its not good.Save your money and go elsewhere. April 24, 2020

It seems to me Paddingtons Pizza has been Around a long as I can remember. There's a good reason. They make the best pizza ! Have a Humdinger. Or any other pie. Also,There's no video games . have a meal with your family and actually engage each other. What? That's crazy talk.

This place is a rip off. No all you can eat salad bar and they charge $1 for drink refills. Make the better choice and spend your money at a place like Pietro's instead. Paddington's needs to get with the modern age and realize that people prefer good deals over being ripped off. Did I mention that Paddington's is a rip off?

Fabulous pizza jus amazing I love there pizza no where else in town can you find any other pizza like it.

The older manager that’s a guy is rude sometimes or just seems to be in a bad mood most of the time, but the front counter and crew is nice. The pizza is delicious thin flaky crispy crust the cheese is excellent high quality mozzarella can stretch for miles. Small pepperoni but evenly spread and portioned good. Great atmosphere for a family gathering or a nice date.

Our family has eaten at Padington's North, for years, and look forward to our visits to Salem so we can stop in. Today, on our trip home from the coast, I stopped and purchased two large pizza's to take home. After arriving home in Oregon City, we sat down to eat. We immediately noticed a high spice burn in our mouths. Never has this ever happened before. I called and spoke with the manager and asked her if they had changed their sauce. She said nothing had changed in all the years her father started the business. I told her our experience and she replied that no one, other than myself, had complained about it. I felt as if she thought I was not being truthful. I never asked for a refund of the $45 I spent, just wanted her to know there was an issue. She did not agree. Since eating it two of us are having stomach issue. Something has definitely changed in their ingredients and we will now have to take them off our list of favorite places to eat.

Almost always busy. Pizza is excellent, staff are great. Has a nice big screen TV above a cozy fireplace.
